Please feel free to contact me for more information! I'm friendly and don't bite. Usually. At least I've had my shots!
Maybe. Maybe not. Helpful, yes? There are many factors that determine this. Generally, if there is humidity, yes. If you sweat, yes. If your bodies pH is on the acidic side, yes. Many people find that during the summer, it's an issue but during the winter with less humidity it doesn't happen very often. The greenish color left on your skin is due to oxidation, and your bodies way of telling you, copper is being absorbed. Many people feel this is a good thing as it can help with joint pain.
It is a layer of gold ( in this case 14 kt) that is bonded to an inner core of semi precious metal with heat and pressure and will not rub off or flake. It's the next best thing thing to gold at only a fraction of the cost.
If your piece has a stone in it, it is best to remove before showing, cleaning, using chemicals, swimming....you hopefully are getting the idea. Jewelry should be the last thing you put on, and the first thing you take off. The more humidity it is exposed to, the quicker it will tarnish/oxidize. This can be removed with a polishing cloth or pad.
VERY SOON! I will have some pieces available at Buy Nebraska in Kearney NE. I'm looking at a couple of other options in the Omaha area as well...
